Community Services
The homeless population in Visalia (and Tulare County) is increasing. That includes moms and dads, children and grandparents, veterans and entire families who find themselves on the streets or taking refuge along the St. John’s River edge. In 2023, more people were accessing emergency shelter beds than in 2022. As of 2023, nearly 1,500 people are experiencing homelessness. *
At Visalia Rescue Mission, we provide a number of services for our community all designed to meet their current needs but to also prepare them for their future.
