“We are delighted to provide Visalia Rescue Mission with third-party accreditation that validates their operational excellence,” said Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator. “The Four-Star Rating is the highest possible rating an organization can achieve. We are eager to see the good work that Visalia Rescue Mission is able to accomplish in the years ahead.”
Michael Simmon, CEO of Visalia Rescue Mission is grateful for the rating being awarded to the organization. “Our Four-Star Charity Navigator is further validation that our supporters can trust our commitment to good governance and financial health. We hope that it will bring a greater sense of trust between Visalia Rescue Mission and our community as we continue to fight the battle of homelessness and addiction. With the backing of Charity Navigator, we have a newfound confidence as we seek our donors’ support through prayer, volunteering, giving, and spreading the word of Visalia Rescue Mission.”
Over the next year, Visalia Rescue Mission is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new coffee shop, “Mission Coffee” located in downtown Visalia. This opportunity will allow us to continue to grow and offer us more ways to share the work being done through the programs and resources offered free of charge to the community around them.
