Walkup Shelters
Visalia Rescue Mission’s Walkup Shelters provides our guests supportive tools and resources to break the cycle of homelessness.
VRM Walkup Shelters
Guests are given the opportunity to attend Case Management appointments where they will receive a full range of care. They will also receive up to date resources that will aid them in obtaining gainful employment, life skills enhancement, housing leads, and more.
Requirements
- Must provide a clean drug screening upon entering.
- Must be able to care for themselves.
- Must be able to complete small chores.
- Must comply with overnight guest’s policies & procedures.
- Must comply with case management after 30 days of shelter stay.
- Must attend chapel when offered

VRM’s Serenity Center staff is proud to work alongside our mothers to offer comprehensive services which help them meet the necessary local requirements for Mother and Child reunification.
